Our Story

Blank Space Consulting grew out of firsthand experience inside Silicon Valley’s defining companies. In the 1990s, our team began at Hitachi Semiconductor, working on the hardware backbone of modern computing. Soon after, Quyen joined Yahoo! during its high-growth years, right in the middle of the internet’s explosive rise.

Those years taught us how thoughtful, adaptable spaces help teams scale and ideas flourish. Today, we bring that same clarity, precision, and discretion to projects across industries...designing and delivering environments where people and ideas thrive.

Founder’s Profile

 

Quyen Huynh — Founder & Principal
Quyen Huynh founded Blank Space Consulting after more than thirty years of experience shaping how people work, connect, and create. She began her career as a facility coordinator at Hitachi Semiconductor, then advanced at Novellus Semiconductor, and later joined Yahoo! during its high-growth years, among the first 500 employees in the Bay Area as the company expanded globally.

 

Over the decades, Quyen has guided projects ranging from biotechnology labs to web platforms, networking infrastructure, data centers, and even a federal research facility in Berkeley. She has also managed large-scale construction efforts for a national wireless carrier and some of the world’s most recognized technology leaders in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, networking, and enterprise computing.

 

Her career reflects a simple philosophy: great spaces serve people first. That perspective defines Blank Space Consulting today, ensuring every project is delivered with care, clarity, and trust.
